Learn how to create your oracle by attending the iExec Workshop Oracle Factory

by Patricia

The decentralized marketplace for IT resources iExec (RLC) is organizing a workshop in Paris to discover the Oracle Factory, its tool to build oracles simply and in a few minutes only.

Create your oracle easily with iExec Oracle Factory

In a future where decentralized finance is important, oracles play a major role. They enable the retrieval, aggregation and connection of data from the real world to the blockchain. This technology is essential for all decentralised applications that run when a real event takes place.

At the time of writing, companies are offering ready-made oracles that developers can integrate directly into their smart contracts. However, if they want to address a specific problem, they have to build their own oracles. In addition to requiring strong technical skills, this is extremely time-consuming.

In response to this, iExec (RLC) launched the iExec Oracle Factory last October. In just a few minutes, and directly from the interface on their browser, developers can create the oracle they need, from any type of data. Once it is finished, it can even be made public and accessible to all. A community spirit that iExec proudly claims.

Founded in 2016, iExec is a French startup whose vocation is to build the first decentralised marketplace for IT resources (servers, datasets, applications). Built on the Ethereum blockchain, it allows users to access, on demand, the resources they need. Resource providers can monetise these digital assets.

Presentation of the Oracle Factory Workshop

In order to present this new product and to gather the ecosystem, iExec organizes an Afterwork Blockchain open to all. In this context, you will be able to attend the Oracle Factory Workshop. This workshop, lasting about an hour, will allow you to learn how to create your own oracles in less than 5 minutes and without blockchain skills, thanks to the Oracle Factory tool.

The Oracle Factory Workshop is one of the workshops offered during this Blockchain Afterwork. In parallel, iExec is also organising a Blockchain Meet Up, a presentation of various new innovative blockchain projects. Finally, the evening will end with a cocktail, allowing to exchange with other passionate participants around the ecosystem.

This event will take place in Paris on Wednesday 2 March from 6pm. For those who wish to attend, the event is free, but registration is required.

Last October, a similar workshop was held at iExec in Lyon. Since then, the Oracle Factory platform has more than 1870 oracles, allowing to transmit a lot of data related to different sectors such as finance, health or even weather.
