FTX.US to give away multiple bitcoins (BTC) in Super Bowl ad

The FTX.US platform will give away multiple bitcoins (BTC) in its Super Bowl ad. The goal of this operation is to reach a new audience to accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies and to raise awareness of the FTX brand.

FTX.US will give away Bitcoin to 4 people at the Super Bowl

On its Twitter account, cryptocurrency exchange FTX.US said it would give away bitcoins (BTC) as part of its Super Bowl advertisement.

However, the release does not specify the number of bitcoins the exchange wants to give away. In fact, it will depend on the time of the commercial on the East Coast.

At least that’s what it says on the FTX.US website:

” For example, if the ad runs at 9:02 EST, we would give 9.02 BTC. 9:02 EST = 9.02 BTC “

According to the current price of Bitcoin, FTX.US would give away over $394,130 to participants.

FTX.US says the prize will be split between four people and they will need to create an account on the platform to claim the prize. However, entrants are not required to have an account at the time of entry.

” Anyone who follows the company’s Twitter account and retweets the pinned tweet of the ad between the time the ad airs and 11:59 p.m. EST is eligible to win. Participants must also be legal residents of the United States, although New Yorkers are excluded,” the release said.

The ad campaign aims to attract a new audience for cryptocurrency adoption. The prospect follows FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried’s desire to target the sports world to accelerate his company’s growth.

FTX sponsors sport to gain exposure

For several months now, the FTX platform has been developing partnerships in the world of sports to gain visibility.

The idea behind sponsoring teams and events is to reach a new audience in order to raise awareness of cryptocurrencies.

For example, the Golden State Warriors (NBA) basketball team signed a groundbreaking partnership with the exchange last December. The exchange is now the Warriors’ official platform for all things related to crypto-currencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Finally, Sam Bankman-Fried has signed a multi-year agreement with Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) and its four Washington sports franchises, including the Wizards (NBA) and Capitals (NHL).

Based in Washington, the company is one of the largest sports organisations in the United States. As such, the agreement will allow spectators at both MSE arenas to experience the FTX.US.
