A partnership with NFTs Nouns

On its Twitter account, beer giant Anheuser-Busch – Bud Light – unveiled its upcoming Super Bowl ad in collaboration with Nouns, a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO).

The latter is the initiator of a project of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) generated on the Ethereum blockchain. The avatars represent people, objects and places, among other things.

” As part of this partnership, Nouns has offered Bud Light NEXT a NFT Nouns representing their famous glasses. The goal is to have this NFT featured in our Super Bowl ad,” said Bud Light’s senior director of digital, Corey Brown.

Entitled “Zero in the Way of Possibility,” the ad features the new Bud Light NEXT carb-free beer. The ad also depicts a series of scenarios, including an art gallery featuring the famous NFTs Nouns glasses.

This collaboration will allow Bud Light to meet consumers where they are. In addition to this opportunity, entering the NFTs industry will allow us to engage with fans and reach a new audience,” added Corey Brown.

For the release of the new beer, the brand has also developed 12,722 NFTs featuring Bud Light NEXT goodies.

Each NFT combines a two-part background with an icon that represents beer, culture, gaming, music and entertainment.

“There are two types of rarities: N3XT and Diamond, which will be revealed after the NFT is claimed. Token holders will have access to exclusive benefits including voting rights on future initiatives (such as branded merchandise), rewards and surprises,” the statement said.
