Lacoste is back on the Web3 scene with the UNDW3 Card, a major evolution in the brand’s approach to NFTs, using the concept of dynamic NFTs. Through “The Mission” community experience, the most involved collectors can increase the rarity of their NFTs and win prizes.

Lacoste renews its Web3 experience with the UNDW3 Card

Famous brand Lacoste entered the Web3 world in June 2022 with the launch of 11,212 NFT Genesis Pass. However, all the NFTs in this collection were identical, with no rarity or element of differentiation.

Today, Lacoste’s Genesis Pass NFT is evolving into the UNDW3 Card (pronounced ‘underwater’). Far from a simple change of name, all the NFTs in the UNDW3 Card collection are dynamic, meaning that they can evolve in different ways depending on the activity of their holders.

In this way, each UNDW3 Card offers personalised access to an immersive Lacoste experience, while dynamically representing the activity of its holder via experiential programmes on Discord.

Here’s how you can increase the rarity of your NFT:

  • NFT holders connect their wallet to a dedicated website, where they can access creative sessions, competitions, video games and various interactive activities;
  • The more active, creative and effective they are, the more points they earn on the leaderboard displayed on the site;
  • This ranking adds rarity to their NFT, which then acquires unique characteristics, which can lead to an increase in the value of the asset.

In addition, the UNDW3 Card acts as a golden ticket to access a multitude of utilities, including:

How does The Mission community experience work?

As a reward to the UNDW3 community, this profound change is accompanied by an experience: “The Mission”. Season 1 of this event kicks off this Thursday 29 June with a series of quests, games and co-creation activities.

Until the end of July, UNWD3 Card holders can claim their first points based on their activity on the Lacoste Discord over the past year. Participating in the Discord, attending AMAs and IRL events, and obtaining roles on the Discord thanks to your activity, all help you collect points to climb to the top of the leaderboard.

Then, until the end of the year, other quests can be completed by collectors. At the end of The Mission experience, the top 200 participants in the leaderboard will be awarded prizes, including some collector’s editions of Lacoste.

Here’s a look at the top prizes:

  • 1st place: a stay in Paris for 2 people and a unique experience with Lacoste;
  • 2nd place: design your own Lacoste piece;
    3rd place: become the face of Lacoste for an international campaign;
  • Fourth to 10th place: tailor-made shopping experience worth €600 or €1,000 (available worldwide);
  • From 11th to 200th: a €100 to €200 voucher to spend in the Lacoste online shop.


On top of all this, prize draws will be held every week, offering all campaign participants the chance to win promotional items, NFT UNDW3 and points.
