Spotify, the Swedish music streaming company, is testing the possibility for artists to promote non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on their profiles. In addition to this, the company is seeking feedback from its users on whether it should go further on these issues.

Currently, Swedish music streaming giant Spotify allows artists to promote their merchandise through their profiles.
In addition to this service, the company is currently testing a new feature that aims to promote non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Specifically, users of the Android application in the US have been selected to get a glimpse of the NFTs from the artists’ profiles. If the user likes the NFT in question, he or she will be able to buy it on external marketplaces.
It is important to note that Spotify will not sell NFTs or take commissions during this test. The company is only looking to promote the NFTs that an artist can sell on its service

Spotify is conducting a test where it will help a small group of artists promote their NFTs via their profiles. We regularly run a number of tests to improve the experience for artists and fans. Some of these tests will eventually pave the way for a wider experience and others will just serve as learning experiences. “
In addition to this, Spotify recently sent out a survey to its users to get their opinions on NFTs.
