La Cigale: the famous Parisian venue launches NFTs with the start-up Tailor

The La Cigale concert hall is taking its turn in the Web3 direction with a collection of NFTs offering exclusive advantages to their holders. One of the strong points of this collection is that it is completely free: those who are most involved in the game will have a much better chance of getting the rarest copies.

The legendary La Cigale venue adopts NFT

The famous Parisian venue La Cigale is launching into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFT) through an original experiment. Indeed, until November 4th at noon, it is possible to complete a series of quests that will allow you to win one of the copies of this collection with multiple advantages.

To set up this collection called “Les Cigales”, the venue’s teams have teamed up with the French company Tailor NFT, which had already accompanied the Olympia during an ambitious web3 initiative that was quite successful: all NFTs were sold out in less than a minute. Julien Ranquere, co-founder and CEO of Tailor NFT, adds:

“The NFTs were sold out in less than a minute.

“Working with La Cigale was a no-brainer for us: a legendary (other) venue, a real desire to build a strong digital strategy focused on fans… all factors that led us to co-create Les Cigales to “treat” and reward the venue’s fans. “

For La Cigale, the luckiest and most deserving person will be able to win the unique NFT, which includes free access to four concerts of their choice and as many dinners, as well as a private tour of the venue. These advantages are then degressive, depending on the level of rarity. So the more players invest in the game, the more chances they have to win.

France Allègre-Gouygou, the general manager of La Cigale, sees this project as a unique way to build loyalty among the venue’s spectators and fans:

The “Les Cigales” project was an obvious way to help us achieve these objectives. We want to tap into the latest technological innovations to provide our loyal fans with ever more innovative and immersive experiences. “

How to win one of La Cigale’s NFTs

One of the key advantages of these NFTs is that they are free, so they will be awarded mainly on merit… and with a significant luck factor. To get your copy, you must complete a pathway called “The Cicada Way”.

This path is characterised by various quests to be completed and available on the Tailor NFT website. These quests include following various social networks or being active in the project community:

As participants complete these quests, they will gain experience and progress through “The Cicada Way”. The more experience a participant gains, the more chances they have to win a rare NFT from the Cicada Collection.

Thanks to this 100% free initiative, La Cigale has entered a very interesting use case for non-fungible tokens, notably by directly addressing fans who wish to get involved and be rewarded for this investment.

It thus puts aside the speculative dimension to focus on merit (a more mercantile dimension that can later be found on the secondary market). There is therefore something for every taste, and above all for every budget.

This is an original and creative way of building audience loyalty, and there is no doubt that in the future we will see more similar projects flourish in the entertainment world
