The co-creator of the Ethereum network (ETH), Vitalik Buterin, has collected texts written during the network’s evolution into a book called “Proof of Stake”. The book will be available from 27 September, with special editions in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT).

The share of the profits from the book’s sale that would normally go to Vitalik Buterin will instead be sent to Gitcoin, an open source project development platform focused on paying developers. Called “Proof of Stake”, the book takes existing texts and recontextualises them:
“These writings, collected from his articles before and after Ethereum’s breakthrough, reveal Buterin to be a vivid and imaginative writer, with context provided by media specialist Nathan Schneider. “
“Proof of Stake”, the (physical and digital) book compiling various writings I’ve made over the last ~10 years, will be out in a month!

Buterin has indeed published a relatively large body of texts on his site over the years, which of course deal a lot with Ethereum and blockchain-related technologies in general.
The book is published under a free Creative Commons license, which will allow it to be shareable and quotable. Fans will be able to purchase signed digital versions in the form of NFTs. These are not yet searchable, so it is not yet known what form they will take visually. It is already possible to order a physical copy or make a donation to receive a signed digital copy.
