Stables is an innovative project born from a collaboration between the Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) and 321founded, a French company specialised in startup incubation. They both came together to develop a new horse racing experience thanks to Web3 and non-fungible tokens (NFT).
Based on the Tezos blockchain (XTZ), Stables has brought together talents from various backgrounds, be they entrepreneurs, Web3 experts or professionals from the horse racing world, to deliver a Fantasy Game based on real racehorses.
The choice of the Tezos blockchain was motivated by the various solutions it provides, namely low energy costs, lower transaction costs, a high level of security, a large community and partners, but above all, a long-term operating guarantee.
Thus, to enjoy the Stables gaming experience, it will be necessary to download a wallet compatible with the Tezos blockchain such as Kukai, Spire, Galleon, AirGap, Temple or Umami.
The Stables experiment, which started on January 9, 2023, allows the first interested parties to sign up to the dedicated whitelist in order to compete in the Web3 way with a racehorse represented as a 3D NFT.

These NFTs each have their own special features and strengths, in sections as varied as the horse’s breed, stride length, win rate, top speed, owner and even nationality. These characteristics correspond, in short, to those of the horses that participate in real horse racing.
In fact, the characteristics of the racehorses in Stables are entirely based on the real-life performance of the horse. More information on this will be available soon.
An ingenious blend of Web3 and horse racing, Stables aims to develop internationally by equipping itself with the tools to become a reference of its kind. To achieve this, Stables is already planning a full roadmap for 2023.
How to enjoy the Stables experience
As mentioned earlier, players can already sign up for the whitelist to have the opportunity to purchase 2 of the rarest NFTs in the Stables universe in the near future, each NFT having, once again, its own specificities.
Furthermore, owning a racehorse NFT allows players to not only participate in the equestrian Fantasy Game experience through their participation in online racing, but also to proactively contribute to the evolution of Stables by joining its physical and virtual communities.
It should also be remembered that the digital racehorses available in the Stables game are themselves linked to real racehorses, guaranteeing a unique experience linking the real world to the Web3 world. Moreover, beyond the practical aspect, these NFTs are represented in 3 dimensions and have been designed and produced by artists specialised in the creation of 3D visuals.

To achieve this, you will have to carefully choose your horse, your equipment, and of course, make the best choices in order to overtake your opponents.
Taking advantage of the richness of the horse world and the racing system, Stables promises to offer an engaging and evolving experience via a points-based ranking system, all based on an algorithm that has been proven through a decade of real-life racing.
Of course, winning races and climbing the leaderboard will unlock rewards, but more details will be revealed soon.
