The KBW2023 IMPACT: an event not to be missed
For one week, the rhythm of blockchain and cryptocurrencies will enliven Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Now in its 6th year, Korea Blockchain Week, Asia’s largest blockchain event, is expecting thousands of participants.

This year, Korea Blockchain Week will kick off with the flagship event of this week dedicated to Web3: KBW2023 IMPACT.

On 5 and 6 September 2023, thought leaders and blockchain industry pioneers will take to the stage to explore the latest advances in decentralised finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT), regulations, artificial intelligence, and more, while fostering knowledge exchange.

KBW2023 IMPACT will not only host conferences, but will also offer a full programme of activities including round tables, interactive workshops and, of course, networking opportunities.

Over the two days, KBW2023 IMPACT will host a host of prestigious speakers, who will share their knowledge and insights through a series of conferences. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the expected speakers:

    Jeremy Allaire: CEO of Circle;
  • Emin Gün Sirer: CEO and co-founder of Ava Labs;
    Sergey Nazarov: co-founder of Chainlink;
  • Illia Polosukhin: co-founder of NEAR Protocol;
  • Mo Shaikh: CEO and co-founder of Aptos;
  • Pascal Gauthier: CEO of Ledger;
  • Sébastien Borget: co-founder of The Sandbox;
  • Charles d’Haussy: CEO of the dYdX Foundation;
  • Clarisse Hagège: CEO of Dfns;
  • And many other Web3 personalities you can find here.

Please note that if you are a student, you can take advantage of a preferential rate of just €100 to attend the 2 days of conferences (subject to presentation of a document proving your student status).

Other events expected at KBW2023

The KBW2023 IMPACT is the main event of the week, but Seoul will be hosting other events dedicated to Web3 until 10 September.

The Gateway: Korea” will be held on 7 and 8 September at the S Factory. The event promises to immerse attendees in an audiovisual experience, with a gallery showcasing renowned digital artists, in addition to fascinating discussions and lectures.

Following the resounding success of previous editions, ‘The Gateway: Korea’ aims to continue the dialogue around the future of digital property and its intersection with art, music, fashion and culture.

Next up, the “Micro Seoul Festival: SEOULBOUND” will take place on 9 and 10 September at Seoul Land. This cutting-edge event will combine the power of Web3 with an immersive musical experience.

Alongside these major events, a host of other activities are being organised throughout Korea Blockchain Week 2023: hackathons, networking evenings, meetups, workshops, NFT exhibitions, etc.
