EDF launches Exaion Node, a new service dedicated to blockchain nodes

by Patricia

In recent years, EDF has been involved in the development of Web3 services on a number of occasions. Today, its subsidiary Exaion Node has announced the launch of an on-demand blockchain node service.

An on-demand node service

Exaion, an EDF subsidiary specialising in Web3 solutions, has just deployed its new on-demand blockchain node service. Named Exaion Node, it is aimed at both independent professionals and companies.

The service has 4 different offers. While the free option only offers a shared node with a single deployable project, the largest one gives access to unlimited project deployment.

All the offers are grouped around a common objective: to save time for the various professionals using this service. In addition, Exaion estimates that up to 40% of time can be saved by teams of developers using this service.

In addition, in its press release, the EDF group states that its actions in Web3 are always thought in accordance with their ecological values:

With Exaion Node, we are putting our low-carbon, sovereign and high-performance infrastructures at the service of increased and widespread Web3 adoption. This offering is easy to access, affordable and future-proof, and will be enhanced with many new features in the coming months. “

As a result, the 5 blockchains offered on Exaion Node operate mostly with low CO2 emission consensus methods:

  • Ethereum (ETH), which needs no introduction;
  • Energy Web Chain (EWF), based on the Ethereum ecosystem;
  • Tezos (XTZ), the largest blockchain of French origin;
  • Avalanche (AVAX), the network with thousands of transactions per second;
  • Bitcoin (BTC), the only accepted proof-of-work (PoW) network

Note that the Polkadot (DOT) and Polygon (MATIC) networks will soon be deployed on the platform. For the time being, the number of nodes commissioned by Exaion is 200
