The Paris Blockchain Week Summit (PBWS) is back from April 12-14, 2022

by Thomas

Organised by ONX-Blockchain and Woorton, the 3rd edition of the Paris Blockchain Week Summit (PBWS) will take place from April 12-14, 2022 at Station F, the famous startup campus based in Paris. An international conference dedicated to blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts, PBWS will host renowned speakers from the ecosystem, who will share their views on the market and its prospects. An overview of the event’s programme.

April 12, Paris NFT Day

This year, PBWS organizers ONX-Blockchain and Woorton will dedicate an entire day to the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The Paris NFT Day will take place on April 12 and will feature more than 70 specialised speakers, such as Julien Bouteloup (BlackPool Finance), Sébastien Borget (The Sandbox) or Rayan Boutaleb (Cyber).

Particularly oriented towards the community, this day entirely dedicated to NFTs will address many topics. In particular, it will be an opportunity to review the current state of the NFT ecosystem. In a few years, this world has evolved very quickly and is now one of the pillars of the cryptocurrency universe.

The pioneers of this ecosystem will explore the possibilities offered by metaverses and those behind some of the most famous collectible projects will discuss the reasons for their success.

Another theme that will be discussed is the recent arrival of some of the world’s biggest companies in the NFT world. These include Adidas, Nike and Visa. How do these companies plan to bring value to the NFT space while gaining an advantage over their competitors in terms of new products and marketing? One thing is for sure, non-fungible tokens are having a huge impact on many sectors, be it the music industry, the video game industry, the movie industry and even the luxury goods industry.

Finally, experts from the world of NFTs will educate participants on the best practices to adopt to protect themselves from scams and risks inherent to non-fungible tokens. It will also be an opportunity for them to share their vision of NFTs and the most promising use cases.

Like PBWS, the Paris NFT Day event will take place at Station F, one of the world’s largest startup campuses, in Paris on Tuesday 12 April 2022.

A time for exchanging and sharing ideas, PBWS aims to provide an event where different industry players and individuals can meet, network and exchange on innovations, projects, and protocols related to cryptocurrencies.

In addition, a plethora of side events will be organised by PBWS partners. During this week dedicated to blockchain, expect meetups, keynotes, workshops, hackathons or conferences around Station F.

By creating a meeting place for industry leaders, we are helping players navigate the market, whether it’s in a mature sector such as decentralised finance (DeFi), or discovering new emerging models such as decentralised autonomous organisations (DAO),” said Emmanuel Fenet, CEO of the Paris Blockchain Week Summit.
