Nvidia is on a roll: $46.74 billion in revenue and a 61% increase in profits

Nvidia has published its quarterly results for the second quarter of 2025, with earnings per share up 61% compared to the previous year. Let’s take a look at these figures.

Nvidia presents its quarterly results

On Tuesday evening, tech giant Nvidia released its quarterly results for the second quarter of this year.

The least we can say is that they are positive, given that the company achieved revenue of $46.74 billion, up 6% from the previous quarter and 56% year-on-year. More importantly, diluted earnings per share increased 42% compared to the first quarter and 61% compared to the second quarter of 2024:

While the company repurchased $24.3 billion worth of shares in the first six months of the year out of the planned $39 billion, Nvidia’s board of directors voted for an additional $60 billion.

In addition, the company’s shareholders will receive a dividend of $0.01 per share on October 2.

For the third quarter, Nvidia has even more ambitious plans, with revenue of $54 billion forecast.

On the stock market, NVDA shares are trading at $181.6, down 1.56% from their all-time high (ATH) on August 12. While the company is currently valued at $4.428 trillion, the latest results could lead to new records.
