France: platform Finary now enables cryptocurrency investing with DCA

by Patricia

French fintech Finary is introducing a new feature for programmatically investing in cryptocurrencies using the Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) method. For this, the startup has teamed up with crypto platform Bitstamp and boasts relatively competitive fees.

Finary launches accessible crypto investment offer

Since its creation in 2021, startup Finary has been providing its users with advanced tools to track and manage their wealth. Today, this ambition is reinforced with the launch of a programmed cryptocurrency investment offering, also known as Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA).

This method, which involves investing a fixed sum on a regular basis, reduces the risks associated with market volatility. It has also proven its worth over the long term in ensuring portfolio growth.

With a view to making this feature accessible to all, Finary’s interface makes it easy to create a tailor-made investment plan. In just a few clicks, users can create a customized plan, selecting from among 14 cryptocurrencies divided into 4 categories:

  • “The Two Kings” (Bitcoin and Ether) ;
  • “Captain DeFi” (oriented towards decentralized finance);
  • “Green Planet” (focused on eco-responsible cryptocurrencies);
  • “Infrastructure Power” (focused on the evolution of blockchain infrastructure).

On the subject of this new feature, Mounir Laggoune, CEO and co-founder of Finary, expresses his vision with enthusiasm:

” […] The launch of our crypto investment plan is a major new step: for the first time, investors will be able to combine monitoring and investment on the same regulated and secure platform. Crypto’s technological and financial potential makes it an essential pillar in every estate. “

Finary is also committed to offering full transparency to its customers. For Finary Plus members (€20 per month or €120 per year with the annual plan), fees are 0.99% per order.

Of course, Finary offers its users the flexibility to manage their investments as they wish. They can either withdraw their crypto-assets to an external wallet, or hold them securely on Finary’s platform thanks to a partnership with the Bitstamp platform.

Users already won over

Since the beta launch of this new Finary feature in August 2023, the service has already won over thousands of users and generated nearly 3 million euros in investment.

The “The Two Kings” pack with Bitcoin and Ether remains the favorite choice of users, accounting for almost 70% of the amounts invested.

What’s more, users with access to the beta version invest an average of €310 per month in cryptos, with the majority opting for monthly or weekly plans.
