Entain Turns to Syntropy (NOIA) for Web 3.0 Transition

by v

The adoption of Web 3.0 for businesses is accelerating. Syntropy (NOIA) has just announced the signing of a new high-profile client, Entain, a sports betting and gaming giant, to operate its decentralised global network.

Entain Joins Syntropy’s Decentralised Network

Gaming and sports betting giant Entain has announced that it will now leverage Syntropy’s blockchain technology (NOIA) to improve the overall performance of its network.

In a few words, Syntropy aims to improve and optimise the functioning of the Internet. Thanks to its Decentralized Autonomous Routing Protocol (DARP), Syntropy optimizes the path of data on the Internet, reduces network latency and energy consumption.

Entain is a company listed on the FTSE 100 index of the London Stock Exchange. Formerly known as GVC Holdings, the gambling and gaming company owns well-known brands such as Bwin, PartyPoker and Sportingbet.

Tax resident in the UK, Entain operates in 31 countries around the world, employs over 25,000 people and has 20 offices across five continents. Add this to their millions of users and the need for a high performance, scalable, secure and fast internet network becomes obvious.

Syntropy, a bridge between businesses and Web 3.0

Before turning to Syntropy, Entain explained that it had conducted a technical study. This revealed that the default Internet path suffered from increased latency, with peaks of over 1500ms for over half an hour. This meant that the connection was sometimes unusable.

This technical study, entitled Proof of Concept (PoC), proposed by Syntropy, allowed the performance problems of the Internet network to be identified very quickly. In response, the DARP protocol immediately proposed an alternative path that was more optimised and adapted to Entain’s needs.

With its technology, Syntropy aims to enable the decentralisation of the Internet and to build the network that will intelligently host the Web 3.0 solutions of tomorrow. The aim is to adapt network use to the real consumption of companies, monopolising a precise path of nodes to ensure the best performance.

As the number of Internet users continues to grow, the need for performance is becoming a priority for businesses. However, current network infrastructures are neither adapted nor scalable. Syntropy provides an effective solution with its non-intrusive, blockchain-based Internet overlay technology.

This partnership between Syntropy and Entain marks the first step in a profound paradigm shift. In this vast transition to Web 3.0, Syntropy is becoming a true gateway for businesses, offering a concrete solution to one of the major problems of tomorrow.
