Cryptocurrency ambassadors at the Château de Versailles
As part of the Choose France Summit, several CEOs of companies in the cryptocurrency ecosystem dined last night at the Château de Versailles, in the company of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron. This fifth edition of this meeting, dedicated to investment and job creation on French territory, gathered 180 CEOs from 43 different nationalities.
The objective of this meeting is to highlight France as a breeding ground for innovation. Thus, we find for example Pascal Gauthier, CEO of Ledger, who was naturally present among the guests :

Thanks to its hardwares wallets, the French unicorn participates, at its own level, in making France shine internationally. Last week, the company marked another step in the diversification of its services, following the integration of FTX.
Other names associated with the blockchain universe were present. Peter Smith, the co-founder and CEO of Blockchain.com was there, as well as Kris Marszalek who heads Crypto.com.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of Binance also had the opportunity to meet Emmanuel Macron during the evening :

An increasingly well-known and recognised sector
Aside from the originality of the idea of talking about cryptocurrencies at the Château de Versailles, CZ also shared a very unusual photo on its Twitter account:

It is indeed Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan. Given what he said, it would clearly be surprising to see the two men working together one day.
Although in business, as in politics, a person’s public discourse does not always reflect their thoughts. Still, such a cliché would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
Of course, we should not count on such an event to have a direct impact on our ecosystem. Especially since the sectors represented at Choose France 2022 were varied. Nevertheless, it is a positive signal, which demonstrates a certain attraction for blockchain technologies.
Moreover, there is no doubt that these different actors were able to seize this opportunity to exchange with the other people present on subjects such as possible partnerships.
