Binance Pay has teamed up with payment app Lyzi to make it possible to spend cryptocurrencies at 440 merchants in France. A further 330 points of sale are also in the process of being integrated across Europe.
Binance Pay partners with Lyzi app
Lyzi, a service that facilitates payments in cryptocurrencies, has entered into a partnership with Binance Pay in order to develop its activities in this direction.
To date, the app, which allows users to receive 1-5% cashback on everyday purchases, is already available at 440 retailers in France. A further 330 points of sale will soon be added to Lyzi across Europe. A wide range of sectors will be covered, including food, cars and pharmaceuticals.
David Prinçay, Chairman of Binance France, spoke about the partnership. He also pointed out that this announcement echoed Binance’s Tour de France, which makes stops in different regions of the country to bring users together: “
“Our partnership with LYZI will enable our users to shop with digital assets in several hundred stores throughout France. This local approach is an extension of our Tour de France, which will be making its next stop in Ouistreham on 11 June. “
How the service works
Not only does this partnership enable Lyzi to develop its market by accelerating its growth opportunities abroad, but on the user side, they now see more choice in their payment options.
In fact, once their Binance account has been linked to the app, these users will have a wider variety of cryptocurrencies at their disposal to make their purchases.
To use Lyzi, eligible merchants present a QR code to be scanned. When using Binance Pay, users will then be redirected to the service to select the asset with which to pay. The example below shows that it is also possible to use two sources of supply, such as ETH and BUSD in this case:
