For January, the main event in France is the 4th edition of CryptoXR in Auxerre. For other events, let’s head over to Switzerland and Portugal to see what’s happening there.

CryptoXR in Auxerre
From January 15 to 18, CryptoXR returns to the Auxerrexpo in Auxerre for its 4th edition. Following the 2025 edition, which drew more than 6,800 visitors and 90 speakers, roundtables, conferences, workshops, and festive evenings are once again on the program, in a 6,000 m² venue.
Notable guests include Claire Balva, president of ADAN; Nicolas Louvet, CEO of Coinhouse; Thibaut Boutrou, COO of Meria; and Louis Alexandre de Froissard, managing director of Montaigne Conseil & Patrimoine.
CfC St. Moritz in St. Moritz
Now heading to Switzerland for the CfC St. Moritz, organized in partnership with the Algorand Foundation, from November 14 to 16.
With partners such as Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), Securitize, DTCC, and Cantor, it’s worth noting that access to the event isn’t open to everyone, as tickets are awarded on an application basis to high-net-worth investors or founders and executives of companies that meet specific criteria.
At this highly exclusive gathering, prominent figures such as Joseph Lubin, CEO of Consensys; Fred Thiel, CEO of MARA; and David Ripley, co-CEO of Kraken, will speak.
Web3 Hub Davos
Still in Switzerland, and this time on the sidelines of the famous World Economic Forum in Davos, CV Labs is once again organizing the Web3 Hub Davos this year.
From January 19 to 22, several conferences are scheduled, featuring speakers from Animoca Brands, Postfinance, and the Stellar Foundation, among others.
Rather than a single ticket, each conference requires advance registration and approval.
BUIDL Europe in Lisbon
On January 7 and 8, KryptoPlanet is organizing the BUIDL Europe 2026 event in Lisbon. Speakers from the Ethereum Foundation, WalletConnect, Immunefi, and Base are expected to attend.
This conference has a technical focus and is primarily aimed at developers and project founders. The two-day pass is priced at 50 euros.
